Sat. November 20th 11 AM – Gratitude & Harvest, Autumn
Sat. December 11th 11 AM – Rest & Recharge, Winter
Virtual on Zoom
The Ukiah Branch Library invites families and participants of all ages to join us for two poetry workshops with Francisco “Bus Stop Prophet” Escamilla, an innovative poet, educator, storyteller, motivational speaker, and "Holder of Deep & Intentional Spaces."
Our first workshop will take place on Saturday November 20th at 11 AM, where Francisco will guide participants through creating their own poetry following the themes of gratitude and harvest.
The second workshop will occur on Saturday December 11th, also at 11 AM, and Escamilla will guide patrons through the process of writing about Winter as a time of resting and recharging in preparation for rebirth and change in Spring.
Visit www.busstopprophet.com for more information about Francisco Escamilla, as well as links to his various social media platforms.
These two poetry workshops are free and open to participants of all ages, but are geared towards families with children and teens aged 6-18. Participation in both workshops is encouraged, but not required. Please email Samantha White at whitesa@mendocinocounty.org to sign up. All registrants will receive an email invite to participate via Zoom.
