Quilt Exhibit: Beauty from Talented Hands
Join the Ukiah Branch Library to view an ongoing show “Local Quilt Artists,” an exhibit by local quilting groups Mendocino Art Quilters and the Rag Tag Quilters. Their pieces are a combination of first rate art quilts and traditionally themed quilts with something for everyone to appreciate while enjoying the vibrant colors.
The Mendocino Art Quilters and the Rag Tag Quilters hope that the public will recognize the important place that textile art holds in our history and culture, while enjoying the vibrant colors and mix of art from our local artists.
This exhibit will be on display for the December Art Walk Ukiah on December 3rd, 2021 from 5-7 PM.
December’s Art Walk Ukiah will also be hosting live music with Charlie Seltzer, a book sale, and Take & Make Cinnamon Stick Candle Votive to-go kits. The kits will be first come, first served and for ages 8+. The Book Sale continues on Saturday, Dec. 4th at 11 AM - 4 PM.
This exhibit is free to the public, for all ages, and sponsored by the Friends of the Ukiah Valley Library and Mendocino County Library.
