Monthly Poet Features & Open Mic with special guest Kim Shuck

Join Ukiah Branch Library staff on the last Thursdays of the month at 7 pm for a live virtual poetry reading & open mic on Zoom. This free event is open to both teens & adults – all are invited to share poems in any form or style, or just listen to others.
On June 30th, we welcome San Francisco Poet Laureate Emerita Kim Shuck, author of eight books. Her latest book Exile Heart “speaks to the issues of water protection, missing and murdered indigenous women, wildfires, and environmental contamination, reflecting a perfectly timed collection.” (From the publisher)
