LOBA Poetry Series with Veronica Kornberg

LOBA POETRY SERIES
Monthly Poet Features & Open Mic with Veronica Kornberg

Thursday, August 25th

7PM on Zoom

Join Ukiah Branch Library staff on the last Thursdays of the month at 7 pm for a live virtual poetry reading & open mic on Zoom. This free event is open to both teens & adults – all are invited to share poems in any form or style, or just listen to others.

On August 25th, we welcome Veronica Kornberg, a poet writing from the coastal town of Pescadero in Northern California. She is the recipient of the Morton Marcus Poetry Prize and has been nominated for Best of the Net and Best New Poets. Her work has appeared or is forthcoming in numerous journals, including Indiana Review, New Ohio Review, Rattle, Beloit Poetry Journal, On the Seawall, RHINO Poetry, Salamander, and Catamaran. She is a Peer Reviewer for the Whale Road Review. You can most often find her happily exploring among the rocks and waves in the tidepools outside her home on the Central Coast.

Registration is required. Please contact Melissa at the Ukiah Library for the Zoom link: carrm@mendocinocounty.org.
