The Laytonville Branch Library is thrilled to announce a special STEM event, Build-A-Robot, scheduled for Friday, September 27 from 3 to 4 p.m.

This event will be held at the Laytonville Book Shop at 200 Branscomb Rd., Laytonville. Children, tweens, and families are invited to join us for a hands-on robot-building activity featuring DIY Doodle Robots. Participants will engage in an exciting learning experience that covers basic principles of circuits, electricity, mechanics, and engineering. This engaging workshop encourages creativity and problem-solving skills in a fun, interactive environment. Each participant will have the opportunity to assemble their own robot using a simple wooden and electric motor kit, perfect for beginners.

This activity is recommended for children ages eight and up. Adult supervision is required for children under 12. Registration is required.
