Cooking Kits

Cooking Kits are now available to borrow at the Mendocino County Library!

Each kit contains:

• Vinyl carry bag
• Cookbook
• Cooking equipment (varies by kit, laminated inventory list included)

Types of kits:

• Basic Baking Kit
• Pasta Making Kit
• Kid's Cooking Kit
• Basic Baking Kit: Gluten-free
• Pasta Making Kit: Gluten-free
  • The Mendocino County Library is pleased to offer a variety of gluten-free cooking kit options. We want to remind borrowers that the Mendocino County Library cannot ensure cross contamination will never occur even though we do have processes in place to minimize this happening. Mendocino County Library requires every borrower wash all kits including the gluten-free kits before use and before returning.

How it works:

1. Check it out with your library card
2. Checks out for 3 weeks
3. Can renew up to 2 additional times if no one is waiting for it and if your account is in good standing
4. Kit must be picked up and returned directly to staff at any branch of the Mendocino County Library; these kits may not be placed in the bookdrop. Please wash kit before returning.

Each branch of the Mendocino County Library will have a selection of Cooking Kits.
