Do It Yourself (DIY) Energy and Water Savings Toolkits are available for checkout at several branches of the Mendocino County Library.

The Toolkits include the tools and information necessary for customers to perform their own home upgrade projects to weather strip windows and doors, monitor electrical usage, find water leaks and make their homes more efficient with LED lightbulbs. Mendocino County Library cardholders can check out the kits for up to three (3) weeks.

In partnership with Mendocino County and Sonoma Clean Power (SCP), the DIY Toolkits are offered as a part of a program promoting energy and water efficiency.
