PebbleGo Science, PebbleGo Ciencia, and Capstone Interactive eBooks

The California State Library is providing our patrons with early literacy supports for STEM content with PebbleGo Science, PebbleGo Ciencia, and Capstone Interactive eBooks!

PebbleGo is a curricular content hub specifically designed for K-2 students and is one of the resources from Capstone, a children’s publisher and interactive content producer rooted in education. Packed with informational articles, ready-made activities, and early literacy supports for students of all abilities, it boosts engagement and fosters independent learning. Content is available in English and in Spanish (PebbleGo Ciencia). Also included are 50 Capstone Interactive eBooks on science and STEM subjects in English and Spanish.

These resources will help students enhance their science, technology, engineering, and research skills. It helps students learn foundational research skills, plus PebbleGo provides critical early-reader supports like audio voice-overs and text-highlighting. PebbleGo is suitable for K-2 grades, and Capstone Interactive eBooks is suitable for K-6 grades.

Accessing these resources has never been so easy!

To access PebbleGo:

1. Open PebbleGo.
2. Click on "Science" to access PebbleGo in English.
3. Haga clic en "Ciencia" para acceder a PebbleGo en español.

To access Capstone Interactive eBook collection:

1. Open the Capstone Interactive eBook collection.
   
2. Click on "Non-Fiction" for eBooks in English.
3. Haga clic en "español" para libros electrónicos en español.
4. You can also access the eBook collection from the PebbleGo link by clicking on the "eBooks" button.

Educator Resources

Not only is PebbleGo great for our K-2 researchers, but it’s also brimming with educator resources for educators and parents! PebbleGo is correlated to curriculum standards and includes ideas for lesson plans, activities, content maps, professional development workshops, and more.

Get Started:

1. Open PebbleGo.
2. Click on the "Educator Resources" link at the bottom of the screen.
