I'm trying to register for an account, but it says "this student name or email already exists."
This means that an account with that email address already exists. Go to the log in page and click "Forgot?" Type in your email address and click "Send reminder." Check your email for a link to reset your password. After you have reset your password, try logging in again.
I'm trying to log in with my library card number, but it says that my card could not be validated.
Pronunciator authenticates patrons by Mendocino County Library card numbers, including a standard library card prefix. You must have a valid Mendocino County Library card in order to access these resources.
I'm logged into the Bluebird app, but some of the content is locked.
You may have registered an account with Bluebird without entering the institutional code "MCL2." Log out of the Bluebird app by pressing the menu icon in the top left, then select "Log out." Try logging in on the Bluebird mobile website or the Pronunciator website with your email address and password. Then try logging into the Bluebird app again with your email address and password. That should give you access to all Bluebird content.
How do I change my email address, student name, or password?
Log into the Pronunciator website with your email address and password. Click "My Account." You will be able to change your email address, password, and student name and click "Update" to save your changes. You can also change your password in the Bluebird app by selecting "Reset Password" on the Log in screen.
I've been using Pronunciator, but when I log in again all of my course progress is gone.
You may have logged into Pronunciator using the Instant Access method, which only requires your library card number. Instant Access will not save any of your course progress.
If you would like to track your course progress, you will need to register on the Pronunciator website. Go to Pronunciator, type your library card number and click "Register." Then enter your email address and choose a password to create a Pronunciator profile. You will use this email address and password to log in.
