Would you like to keep track of your reading and join our reading challenges online?
Beanstack allows you to:
- Keep track of all family members’ reading logs, progress, and challenge badges on one account.
- Log reading from home or on the go to earn digital badges.
- Complete activities and write book reviews to earn digital badges.
- Use the Beanstack Tracker App to keep track of all reading activities quickly and easily.
Get Started:
- Go to the Library’s Beanstack URL: https://mendolibrary.beanstack.org or download the Beanstack Tracker app available on Apple or Google.
- Create an account by clicking "Register an Individual or Family" and follow the onscreen prompts.
- You can create an Individual account for just one person, or you can create a Family account where you can log activities for each member of your family.
- You can join a reading challenge. *Reading challenges are often seasonal and registration is restricted by age.
- Now you’re ready to start exploring Beanstack! Register for an available reading challenge to start logging your minutes and earn prizes. If no reading challenges are available, you can use Beanstack to track your regular reading, including titles, reviews, and minutes read.
- If you would like to participate in any of our reading challenges using a paper log, please contact your local branch to find out how.
How to Log Books/Minutes:
- Click on the “Log Reading" button.
- A window will open to allow you to log minutes, books, or activities. *If an account has more than one Reader, it will ask which account you wish to log under.
- Choose the appropriate Reader’s account.
- Write the title and author of the book or time spent reading. You can also write a review.
- Click the “Log” button and watch for the green band at the bottom of the screen for successful logging.
